Overview
Immerse yourself in the tranquil Gozitan countryside and experience the natural wonder of olive oil at this small, family-run grove. Learn about the traditional methods used to nurture 600 olive trees and hear about the process of the olive harvest. Taste the delicious fruits of the family’s labour, along with a bunch of other local produce. This tour is a brilliant insight into Gozitan agricultural practices and on opportunity to taste a locally produced product.

What you’ll do
Explore the serene olive grove with a guided talk on farming, harvest and oil-making practices before we move into the tasting area with Ta’Pinu Basilica as the backdrop. Taste and enjoy the artisan oil direct from the grove and learn about its notes and features. Continue to enjoy the artisan oil with some local goodies such as hobza (bread), kunserva (tomato paste) and Gozo salt.
